DCP Founder to Present on the Agile Data Center at Cloud Expo Europe

Mark Thiele to discuss how cloud computing is changing the IT infrastructure

Cloud computing will have a transformative impact on the data center landscape. The traditional measures of success for data center ownership will be thrown out the window in favor of Agile Data Center or Agile and On- Demand Compute Capacity. Traditional data centers can take up to two years to provision and then become a capital asset anchor on the responsible organization.

In his session at the 6th International Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, President & Founder of Data Center Pulse (DCP), will discuss how Data Center capacity will change in the same manner that cloud computing is changing how IT infrastructure managers acquire and manage new hardware. This means faster time-to-market and dramatic improvements in Data Center ownership efficiency.

Mark Thiele is President & Founder of Data Center Pulse (DCP), a non-profit organization founded on the principle of using the customer's voice to influence the Data Center industry. DCP was founded in September 2008 and has since grown to over 1500 members.
